    Spring Is Here At Last…..

Oh, how I wish the good Queen Spring would bless us with her presence! She, with her warm winds and flowers all in a row. Altho King Winter has been kind to us this year, amusing us with blankets of white snow; I believe he has stayed long enough and is now quite unwelcome.

I long to see Queen Spring's blossoms and her bright sun. The lord Summer brings unwanted burning heat and King Winter brings weather that is just simply to cold to be out in. But good Queen Spring arrives with a temperature just right. The trees will be a beautiful green and the flowers will be as bright as Easter eggs. There will be more bear trees, no more dead flowers. Queen Spring truly represents the new life Jesus brings. The Lord God gives us new life just as Queen Spring gives new life to the flowers. Queen Spring swops down like a dove, quick and full of gladness. She will beckoned the seedlings out of the earth, fill the trees with green beauty, and create a new world around us. The wise Queen Spring turns frigid cold to blooming live.   Oh, beautiful Queen Spring, come to us and full our world with bright new life! Oh, beautiful Queen Spring, come to us with gladness and beauty! Oh, beautiful Queen Spring, make haste!

For The Bible Tells Me So…..

"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." Through my short but amazing lifetime, I have discovered this to be true the hard way. But if I could, I would add a another sentence to this phrase. "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Unless you have one of those guides that comes on the inside of the box." There, that sounds better. But some people would ask, "But where do you find this guide? There is no box to read. Where do you find this?" This wonderful guide I speak of is The Holy Bible.

The Bible tells you everything you need to know. It tells you how you need to live and what you need to do on this earth to live eternally with God in heaven. Sure, The Bible doesn't tell you if your Great-Aunt  Sue is going to die tomorrow, but The Bible does tell you how to deal with these things so you don't fall to pieces like glass.

Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." Proverbs 3:5-6, " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." These are just three of the verses that have been shown to me when I needed them most.  The Holy Bible, God's word, will guide you. It will help you make the right decisions. Or in other words, the guide on the inside of the box will tell you which chocolate is good and which chocolate is not so good.
